Changing your IP address Guide rev 1.0

This is a small tutorial on how you can change your MAC / IP address.

First Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Network Connections

Right click your default network connection and select "Properties" --> "Configure" and "Advanced".

In property selection select the item "Network Address"

Set it to "Manual", and set the value to something like "0A0A0A0A0A0A"

click OK and your MAC address should now be changed!

Now go to http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/ and check your IP address

If you want to change it again just increase the hex value example:"0A0A0A0A0A0B"

This little trick lets you download as many files as you want from Rapidshare.

P.S. Sometimes you will have to clear your network cache and delete cookies.

If you are connected to internet trough a gateway or proxy this won't change your IP this guide will only work when your computer gets the IP address directly from an DHCP server.

Note: This guide may not work on some network cards!
