WWII Bomber!


A Google Earth user has discovered a World War II Lancaster bomber flying over Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. It turns out it is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster, the City of Lincoln. The reason the Bomber evaded Google's attention is probably because it is camouflaged. I think that we can all agree that seeing a WW2 bomber over a 21st Century housing estate is quite a surprise! Here is a picture of the bomber from the ground.
